Let’s start with the basics. Black Friday can be an overwhelming experience, with deals being thrown around that do not exist at any other time of the year, but have no fear. I have listed out my full arsenal of tips and tricks along with links to some featured deals that I think are worth it. Note: check the active date on the promotion as some of these go live later this week. Buckle up…this is a long one.
- Open a dummy email address: Most sites offer sign up discounts that may or may not be combined with Black Friday deals. It’s worth the effort for the extra 10% to 15%. In addition, you can sign up for pre-sale launch notices that often come at this time of year. When you’re done, shut it down and don’t stress about flooding your inbox.
- Put together a list of gifting items you want to pick up for those in your life. Mom and Dad, the kids, friends etc. Making a list of the budget for each helps as well and keeps your bank balance in order.
- Work out your own wishlist. It could be that more expensive item you have been holding off on or a restock of things you use all the time and might as well buy on sale. Keep in mind that often expensive hair tools and other beauty devices are a real steal at this time of year.
- Buying directly from the company’s website almost always has better deals than a department store or beauty store. They usually offer free shipping and branded freebies or samples with your order.
Benefit is a great example of a stock up on sale buy. I adore so many of their brow products and I use their Hello Happy powder foundation for touch ups or full coverage looks. They are offering 25% plus secret specials on the day off and more.
Here’s a perfect reason to shop a big sale. T3 has some of the best tools on the market but they are pricey. With 25% off with code FRIDAY19 from 11/25 to 12/1 plus the ability to stack with their Tool of the Month promotion, you could save big bucks on their products. Pro Tip – check out their Twirl Trio curling iron with 3 barrels for a huge variety of looks possible.
Tata Harper is one of the most well respected brands on the market and has the price point to match. Savings for Black Friday are big and the specials below are worth the wait, pro tip, their Hyaluronic Duo is incredible.
Milk Makeup has been one of my favorite brands for a long time. I am a huge fan of their Kush Brow Gel and their cooling sticks and primers are amazing. There is a huge range of items I recommend trying and sale time gives you generous gifts with purchase.
Shein was my surprise this year. I found amazing T shirts with very cute phrases that were super soft. Their plus size range is outstanding and although no one is expecting magical quality, their rompers in particular are a great option. Expect massive discounts up to 70% off with items as low as $2.00.
Yandy is a secret that makes everyone blush but will make your life so much more interesting. Risky lingerie that doesn’t come at a painful price to spice up your evenings. They carry a variety of items including Halloween costumes, swim wear and more but the winner is the underwear. They run massive sales all the time so Black Friday means big deals.
And finally it’s my fave Colourpop. They are notoriously secretive about their sales and deals but I know that there will be an epic sale on for Black Friday. Make sure to keep an eye out and I have my cart filled and ready to go.
So that’s a peek into my Black Friday wishlist. Tips and tricks to keep you on budget are all over the internet but this is the system that works for me. I am about to film a matching YouTube video that has even more covered so take a look if you can, I will link the video on my social media channels but Twitter at @reviewsclarity usually gets the link first.
Some of these links are affiliated which means I receive a small commission on the sale should you purchase through them but all opinions are my own but I have expensive taste so support my Tata skincare fixation.
